Mr. Coppola has composed an opera on the difficult and controversial subject of "Sacco And Vanzetti."

On Friday, March 16, 2001, the world premiere of Anton Coppola's "Sacco And Vanzetti" was performed by Opera Tampa at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, the largest performing arts complex south of Washington, DC's Kennedy Center.
